Pentaglot Psalter. Egypt. 12th-14th Century; restored and rebound 1636. From Dayr al-Suryan, a multilinguistic monastic community. The book contains canticles, or hymns of praise from the Hebrew and Christian Bibles, and the Niceno-Constantinople Creed.
