Jaguar (Panthera onca). Parque Nacional del Agua Juan Castro Blanco. The only living member of the genus Panthera native to the Americas. Body length up to 1.85 m, weight of up to 158 kg., it is the largest cat species in the Americas and the third largest in the world. Conservation Status: Near Threatened (only 50 left in Corcovado National Park).
